April Weather Back to Normal
After yesterday’s mid to upper 80s and today’s 70s to near 80 we are watching a new high building down from the Great Lakes and Southeastern Canada. Yesterday’s cold front is stalling out to the south of us and there are still some showers moving across the Middle Atlantic states this evening. For us we will see some leftover high clouds gradually give way to clearing skies and temperatures will finally cool off to the 40s with a few 30s in cold spots. Tuesday looks like a nice day as we should see a fair amount of sunshine and highs in the upper 50s along the coast to 60 to 65 inland west and north.

Wednesday with the high going out to the east there will be an onshore flow that will set up Tuesday night. Some clouds will roll in from east to west during Wednesday and there will also be clouds from the weather system approaching from the midwest.
Some light rain or drizzle will likely develop Wednesday night and then Thursday some late showers and at least an attempt to warm up through the 60s depending on whether the onshore flow gets displaced. Friday will see a stronger cold front and the risk for late thunderstorms. Once that system is done we should be dry Saturday into Sunday before another system comes out of the Plains bringing rain close to us by late Sunday.
