The offshore low that brought clouds and even some showers to parts of the area (mainly the coast) yesterday is gone and now we start off the week with sunshine. It should be a good day today all the way around with temps in the 80s. The humidity is higher today but it is not weighing too heavy out there. The next cold front is coming tonight and early Tuesday and there could be a few thunderstorms with that however like many of the fronts we have seen this summer it is faster and weaker once it gets here so I’m not really looking for much out of this. Once the front moves through weather conditions improve and the outlook for the mid week period into the weekend looks very good with sunshine and temps close to 80 or in the low 80s and nights in the 60s and 50s in cooler interior areas. Pretty straight forward forecast for the last full week of August!
I don’t expect the tropics to be of any real concern this week as Danny continues to weaken and may be gone in the next few days. The system behind Danny in the Atlantic will develop however it runs into the same issues that Danny had so it remains to be seen what happens with that. In the meantime it is a nice Monday even though markets world wide look like they are undergoing some sort of bloodbath today.
