Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Playing to form thunderstorms today developed and reach their peak intensities well inland north and west of the coast and while there are still some thunderstorms on the radar this evening they should be winding down in the next few hours and then it is leftover clouds warm and humid conditions tonight with lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s in most places. Tuesday sets up the same as Monday as  another disturbance swings across the Great Lakes which means clouds and some sun, very warm and humid conditions with the risk for scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. I don’t think we have a set up for severe weather on Tuesday. Temperatures on Tuesday will be in the middle 80s to near 90.

Local radars are showing thunderstorms running around in a few places. Some areas are experiencing heavy rains and flash flood warnings. That seems to be the biggest risk from these thunderstorms.
