Snow Forecast National Weather Service Amounts Raised 03212018
Overnight weather models continue to gradually come together regarding the complex storm for Tuesday & Wednesday across the Middle Atlantic & southern & coastal areas of the Northeast. Recent model runs have tucked in the low closer to the coast. The overnight gfs model has also come in to the idea of the others. There are no winter storm watches up at the moment but i suspect we could see some along coastal areas. Lesser amounts will fall north and west of the coast. Where the sharp cut off gets this time is a tough call. I think we see snow up to Route 84 in NY State and Connecticut. Highest amounts could be in Central New Jersey and Long Island with this system. Accumulations are going to be a bit tricky especially around the warmer urban centers so we could see it play out like it has in the prior storms where the urban centers around NYC Newark & Philadelphia see far less than the areas that surround them/
