Showery Rains Continue Local Flash Flood Risk

Very Warm to Hot Mid & Late Week

We had some showers and downpours overnight and we will likley see some more showers and downpours during the day today. We will have lots of clouds and very humid conditions otherwise with highs today in the 70s to near 80 degrees. Rainfall amounts will vary but look for an additional 1/2 inch to an inch on top of what fell overnight. Some thunderstorms could develop in the mid today and that is where some areas could see some heavy downpours and perhaps some localized flooding.

Look for leftover clouds and a few scattered overnight showers with lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Tuesday we see clouds and sunshine, very warm and humid conditions with the chance for scattered showers or a thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

The second half of the week will be very warm to hot and humid with sunshine each day and highs reaching the upper 80s to around or just over 90 degrees Wednesday through Friday. There is the outside chance for a scattered shower or thunderstorm each day. We don’t see too much changing with regard to the weekend. The flow may be a little more onshore and that might lower the temperatures somewhat but it will still be very warm and humid over the weekend with not much if any rain.
