It will be a great weekend at the beach with water temperatures at their seasonal highs, lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 80s. No thunderstorms are forecast. Marine conditions look good too.

Synopsis: HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OVER THE NORTHEAST AND WILL REMAIN IN CONTROL THROUGH NEXT WEEK.

SatW winds around 5 kt…becoming SW in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
Sat NightSW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
SunSW winds around 10 kt. Seas around 3 ft.

With regards to the rip currents it looks like a moderate risk of rips for Long Island and a low risk for New Jersey.
