It is a great event if you haven’t seen it. The MACYS FIREWORKS on 4th of July is awesome. I have seen both in a work and non work capacity. If you are attending this remember that traffic and parking in Manhattan are always an issue and mass transit will work better all the way around. The weather forecast for tomorrow night’s show which begins around 9pm is the big question.

Latest weather modes continue to bring rain close by 8pm Monday night so there is the possibility that some rain will be moving in around 9pm. Keep your fingers crossed that it can hold off for 2 hours and wait until the fireworks are done with. There are no issues for the daytime Monday other than sunshine giving way to arriving clouds with temperatures in the upper 70s to some lower 80s.
With regards to viewing options here are some suggestions. The Brooklyn and Queens side offer terrific views. I watched it from a rooftop in Brooklyn a few years ago and it was awesome. You got to see everything with a small crowd. Of course it pays to know someone who works in one of those buildings to get you up to the roof!
