Holiday Weekend Complications?
The Holiday Weekend Begins with lots of sunshine. Yesterday’s severe weather is long gone and now that everything seems to be uncomplicated, it gets a little complictated. Out in the middle of the country there is a flare up of thunderstorms with low pressure that is developing there. I though that the biggest issue regarding this will be clouds and how far north those clouds get. It seems that we will be on the edge of clouds and that much of the rain with this should pass to our south. I’m going to remain with this idea even though some models are trying to bring the rain further north for Sunday night into Monday morning. At this moment I am discounting this idea.

There are no issues at all today for sure with lots of sunshine and highs in the 80s with low humidity. Tonight will be clear with most lows in the 60s although there will be 50s in many cool spots. For Sunday and Monday we will go lots of sunshine from New York City Northern New Jersey, Northeastern Pennsylvania, Hudson Valley Connecticut and Long Island..while across Central and South Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania we will go with a mix of sun and high clouds for Sunday into Sunday night and partly sunny Monday. Even though models bring rain chances further north I’m ignoring this for now.
JET STREAM PATTERN LATE NEXT WEEK
We seem to be seeing a good shot for a few hot days late next week and next weekend as the upper air get stream retreats to the north and a ridge aloft builds in the east. This should mean 90 degree plus weather with higher humidity beginning next Friday and possibly into next weekend. We will discuss this more as we move through the weekend.
