Heavy Rain Thunderstorms Moving Northward
The upper low now moving into the Appalachians is spinning northward and swinging an arm of heavy rain thunderstorms into the area. Radar shows the rain moving up and we will be seeing moderate to heavy rain through the afternoon before the heavy rain thunderstorms being to shift eastward. There are no major changes to the forecast. Some local flooding is possible in some areas. It will most likely be the usual suspect spots that flood out. Temperatures are in the 50s but they will rise across Central and South Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania into the 60s and even a few 70s are possible. Areas to the north of Route 195 in New Jersey to Southern New England will reach upper 50s and lower 60s.

Boxed areas on the radar show warnings that are up for possible severe weather. For tonight there will be some downpours in a few places. The weekend will be unsettled with clouds and a few showers still possible through Sunday. Temperatures will be in the 60s Saturday and in the lower 60s on Sunday as cool air is drawn southward. The upper air storm will be very slow to get out of the way.
