New Jersey is going to see a nice day of sunshine and temperatures in the 50s. Simple, straight forward and to the point. This going to be a rather uneventful week and next weekend barring any last minute complications it is going to be a warm weekend with some sunshine and temperatures into the 60s!! Here is the latest on the week ahead for New Jersey with FiOS1 News meteorologist Brian Fitzgerald. Meteorologist Joe Cioffi will have the latest tonight beginning at 5pm.
Not much is going on this morning on the satellite other than a few clouds moving through and that’s about it. Low pressure develops off the southeast coast and heads offshore. Another weak disturbance is approaching the midwest. This looks to be a very quiet calm week ahead.
Temperature wise today highs will be in the 50s. Tonight’s lows will be in the mid 30s to lower 40s. Tuesday with clouds around all day highs will be in the upper 40s to around 60. Sunshine will be back on Wednesday with a few passing clouds and highs in the 50s. Much the same will be the story for Thursday and Friday. Other than clouds and maybe a passing shower Thursday night we will be dry for the rest of the week with highs in the 50s. Then this coming weekend with a cold front approaching for Sunday night/Monday morning and a south southwest flow ahead of it, get set for some sunshine and highs in the 60s! I would not at all be surprised to see record highs approached in some areas this coming weekend. The pattern across the United States continues to favor cold and snow in the west and warm and no snow in the east.
