Beautiful Afternoon Rain Wednesday Night Dry Late Week Showers Saturday
The satellite loop tells it all this afternoon as the weather front from last night continues to push southward. We continue to see increasing sunshine and low humidity though it is warm this afternoon with temperatures in the 80s. There are no weather issues through the daytime Wednesday. We will see some clouds increase Wednesday afternoon after some morning sunshine. Temperatures overnight will be in the mid 50s to lower 60s and highs Wednesday will be in the 70s to near 80 or so. Radars are nice and quiet today and will remain so through Wednesday.

The front to the south will remain rather active and a wave will be developing on it and moving our way Wednesday night. We are likely to see some rain play through during the overnight but if everything times right, it should be done by Thursday morning early and then mostly sunny skies will develop Thursday with highs reaching into the 80s.

Friday looks like a nice day but high pressure to the north will set up a cool wind from off the ocean so temperatures will be in the 70s. Low pressure in Missouri will then move northeastward and that warm front from the south will push northward. This is going to put us in clouds and showers for Saturday with temperatures in the 70s. If everything moves along and it should this system should be gone by early Sunday and weather conditions will improve for the second half of the weekend. Behind this system is a cool high that will build in for early next week and temperatures will continue to be below average with highs just in the 70s. The weather pattern continues to argue against any long lasting heat waves and very warm humid days will be few and far between until we see some sort of pattern shift in the Eastern US.
