Warmer Temperatures On The Way
No Rain Forecast Next 7 Days
Another day starts off with very cold temperatures in the 20s and lower 30s. Some cold spots even managed to bottom in the upper teens. At least this is the last “very cold” night as high pressure is now offshore and a south wind develops. However that south wind will have an easterly component to it and that is going to keep temperatures from rising much today. We will have lots of sunshine though and temperatures at least should make it back through the 50s to near 60 degrees for afternoon highs. Cooler 40s will prevail however along coastal areas of New Jersey, Long Island, and Southern New England.

WEATHER RADAR
A look at satellite and radar loops this morning show that the weather up and down the Eastern Seaboard is calm and quiet. Showers are well up into Southeastern Canada and not a factor at all in our weather going forward. In fact it is rather likely that we will be dry for the next week or so as weak weather fronts pass through, totally cut off from any moisture source. Also we will get a break from these cold Canadian air masses that have been coming down lately.
Friday we will see sunshine for much of the day and a slight bend to the wind to the southwest will allow inland highs to climb into the 60s except for areas along the coast. Friday night into early Saturday morning a cold front will move through with little moisture so we will see nothing more than some clouds and maybe an isolated shower. The weekend is shaping up to be nice with seasonal temperatures. We will see some sunshien for both Saturday and Sunday. Highs both days will be mostly in the 60s.
