Warm October Night & A Very Warm October Wednesday
Before Onshore Flow Cools Off Thursday
Overall it was a nice Tuesday across Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. A warm front is to our north and a cold front to the west. Showers and a couple of thunderstorms are rolling across Northern New York and into Northern New England but this is not an issue for our area. Nothing more than some passing clouds tonight with warm lows Wednesday morning in the 60s.
The cold front that is passing through Wednesday will have little weather and cloud cover with it but it does turn the wind to the west and northwest. Initially it will have a rather robust launching pad of warm temperatures to work with so with ample sunshine. Wednesday highs will reach the low and even a few middle 80s before winds turn more north and northeast and it cools off Wednesday night.

WEATHER RADAR
Thursday morning low temperatures will be in the 50s. Another high builds into Eastern Canada and New England Thursday but it will be rather short lived thanks to another low pressure area moving eastward through the Great Lakes and it’s associated warm front that will move through tonight and a cold front that will move through late Friday.
Thursday will see sunshine giving way to arriving clouds with an ocean wind. High temperatures will be mostly in the 60s. Some showers will move through Thursday night into early Friday morning. This will be followed by a break with some sunshine developing. Then the cold front arrives late Friday afternoon with showers. Highs Friday will reach the lower 70s.
Behind this cold front will be the coldest air mass of the Autumn season so far and it sets up for a chilly but dry weekend. Saturday will be a day of gusty winds and ineffective sunshine with highs generally only in the 50s and we will be dropping into the 30s in many locations Sunday morning. It might be cold enough for some inland areas to see their first freezes of the season. Sunday dayside will be sunny with less wind but high temperatures again will be only in the 50s. We should see temperatures bounce higher next week.
