Storm Exits Later Today Dry Weather & Sunshine Tuesday Through Thursday
Be patient folks for the end of the coastal storm is near. Rain has ended for most of Southern New Jersey and points south but we still see an arc of rain from Northern New Jersey north and east. The satellite loop clearly shows the center of the coastal storm is now beginning to move to the east, south of Long Island. It won’t be long before the rain starts to pull away though you can see that the arc of rain is still circulating on the back side. This should play out this afternoon and weather conditions will start to improve tonight with leftover clouds giving way some partial clearing overnight and toward morning. Temperatures today will hold in the low to mid 60s and lows by Tuesday morning will be in the 50s.

WEATHER RADAR
Finally Tuesday dry air overtakes the region across Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. Skies should become partly to mostly sunny. That will be enough to take temperatures back into the lower 70s in most places Wednesday afternoon. Weak high pressure in the Middle Atlantic states will control the weather scene through Thursday.
Wednesday and Thursday will feature sunshine and warmer conditions. Highs Wednesday will be in the 70s. Thursday will be even warmer with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and warm spots could get close to 80 degrees. A cold front will approach on Friday with clouds coming in mixing with some sun and there is the risk for a shower or two late in the day. Highs Friday will be in the 70s. This front is going to stall out nearby and this will probably set us up for some rain over the weekend. Saturday looks to be the drier day with rain coming Saturday night into Sunday.
