RAINFALL AMOUNTS REDUCED AS RAINS SHIFT EAST

National Weather Service rainfall forecast amounts have been cut as the radars continue to show most of the rain has shifted to the east while the rains to the west have weakened and dried up. There are still some downpours showing up over parts of New Jersey however much of this will diminish overnight. There still may be some leftover showers in the early morning hours but after sunrise weather conditions will improve.

Models do show more rain coming later Satuday and Satuday night as a strong upper trough swings out of the midwest. While impressive, it will once again remain to be seen how much of this holds together.
