Nice Weather Saturday Chance For Showers Sunday Monday
The weekend is underway and we have a Saturday of mostly sunny skies to start and probably going partly sunny this afternoon as high clouds come up from the south. There is moisture in the Southeast US that came out of the Gulf of Mexico and that moisture is moving slowly northward today. It is pushing shower activity to our west later today into Central and Western Pennsylvania. We should be fine in Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England with highs in the low to middle 80s. Temperatuers will be in the cooler 70s along coastal locations.
Humidity levels will start to go up tonight as clouds increase with most lows in the upper 50s well inland and north and mostly 60s everywhere else. Sunday is now looking like we will certainly be cloudy and we will likely see some showers moving through from time to time. Sunday highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s. Clouds will help to hold the temperatures down a bit.
Not much in the way of rain is going to fall. This is going to be more of a nusiance than anything else. It is definitely not an all day rain so there will be some dry stretches from time to time. and some areas might get away with seeing very little rain.
Monday and Tuesday will be about waiting for that slow moving cold front to move east and pass through. It is going to take it’s time doing so. Humidity levels will be going higher for Monday and Tuesday. We do not see all day rains but more along the lines of a few showers from time to time and skies will be cloudy to partly sunny in between. Highs Monday and Tuesday will be in the upper 70s tolower 80s both days.
Once the cold front moves through Tuesday night or early Wednesday we should see improving weather conditions for the second half of the week and that will come with some nice weather and sunshine especially Thursday and Friday. Humidity levels will be quite low and highs each day will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
