Nice Finish to the Week Saturday Looks Good

Some Rain Saturday Night Into Early Sunday

As we move through this morning clouds that are overhead and the rain that is over South Jersey will exit. Dry air and low humidity to the north will push southward and it has already arrived in some areas but it will allow for clouds to give way to sunshine for much of Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. It may take a little longer for areas to the south. Most highs today will be in the 70s to around 80. Humidity levels will be down making for a comfortable day. Skies will be clear tonight with Saturday morning lows in the 50s except low 60s coast and warmer urban areas.

The weekend has some issues. The old cold front stalls in the Mid Atlantic and then heads back northward. Saturday will probably be the better day because we expect the entire dayside to be dry. Look for sunshine to give way to arriving clouds. Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Look for humidity levels to start off low but then rise as the day wears on, especially Saturday evening as the warm front approaches.

Saturday night we will see rain develop and overspread Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. If things time out correctly, expect the rain to end from west to east Sunday morning between 7am and 10am, and the leftover clouds will give way to some sunshine Sunday afternoon. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s. Humidity levels will remain on the high side until another cold front passes Sunday evening.

We do not expect this front to produce much other than clouds and perhaps an isolated shower. Otherwise a soldi push of dry and cooler air arrives for Monday which looks to be a sunny day, very low humidity, and highs mostly in the 70s. Much of next week will be rain free and the next chance of anything significant rain wise likely comes late in the week or next weekend.
