Warmer Weather With Sunshine No Rain Forecast Until Saturday

We are about to start a 4 day stretch of mostly nice weather days with no rain in tre forecast. We haven’t a  stretch of weather like this so far this spring so we are going to just sit back and enjoy it. Skies today should be no worse than partly sunny. We don’t have and kind of onshore flow setting up this week. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the 70s and some areas in Central and Southern New Jersey will reach the mid to upper 70s. Coastal areas will have sea breezes coming in during the afternoon and evening knocking temperatures down by a few degrees.

We are in what I would describe as a “no man’s land” of a weak pressure pattern that will cover the Northeast & Mid Atlantic states for the rest of the week. Gulf moisture is suppressed south. Lower pressures and severe weather will be mostly confined to the Plains over the next few days. It isn’t until Saturday that we have low pressure moving east from the Plains to New England that we have to concern ourselves with showers or possible thunderstorms.

Bearing this in mind we will be seeing days where skies will be no worse than partly to mostly sunny. Winds will not be much of an issue which as we know has been a plague in the Northeast & Middle Atlantic states for months now so it is nice that we will be getting a break. Wednesday and Thursday highs will be mostly in the 70s. Temperatures will be cooler along south and east facing shorelines like the Jersey Shore, Long Island & Southern New England. Temperatures here will cool off by a few degrees during the afternoon and evening hours

Dry weather & sunshine continues Friday. High temperatures again will be in the 70s except cooler at the coast. Saturday as a cold front approaches we will see cloudy skies and a high chance that we will see showers and some thunderstorms until the front passes. Highs Saturday will be in the 60s to near 70.  Once it does, Sunday will be a mostly sunny dry cooler day but temperatures will still be reaching the 60s.
