Nothing But Sunny Days Clear Nights Seasonal Temperatures Next 5 Days

Today marks the 7th straight day of sunshine with hardly any cloud cover and not a drop of rain. What is remarkable is that it is unusual to go 7 days in a row without even a minimal amount of clouds around. However if it is going to happen at any time of year, October is the likely month it happens. Records show that October has the highest number of days with clear skies. Skies will be mostly sunny today and temperatures after their chilly start will reach the upper 50s and lower 60s. Radars are nice and quiet.

Nights have been on the chilly side with this pattern and that continues. Skies tonight will be mostly clear with inland lows in the 30s while coast and warmer urban locations will bottom in the low to mid 40s. Sunday will be another day of mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will rise to the low and mid 60s area wide.

Monday will be a mostly sunny day with a southwest wind and that will allow temperatures to reach the mid to upper 60s. In face some warm spots might hit 70 degrees. There is another cold front coming through, dropping southward from Eastern Canada so it will have little to no moisture with it and produce nothing more than a few clouds and a wind shift from southwest to northwest.

Another high pressure area builds into Eastern Canada and New England behind the weather front so we will be back slightly cooler temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday though skies will remain sunny both days. Then another brief warm up and another weak cold front Thursday followed by another dry air mass for Friday and next weekend. As far as any rain is concerned we may have to wait until we get into the month of November where the weather pattern is forecast to normalize. No big or small storms are in sight!
