A Sunny Saturday But Showers Thunderstorms Probable Late Sunday into Early Monday
The weekend is underway and we have satellite loops showing dry air from New England and Eastern Canada south to Virginia. We are seeing sunshine across Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. Dew points are reasonable today with high pressure overhead. Areas to the south have also seen dew points drop down to the upper 50s to around 60 which is nice. We can expect highs today to reach the low and middle 80s and no showers or thunderstorms are in the forecast. Tonight skies should be partially clear with most lows across the region in the 60s though a few cool spots in the Hudson Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania, Northern New Jersey will drop into the 50s briefly.

Humidity levels will be coming up Sunday ahead of a warm front that is moving northeast out of a low and a cold front to the west. It seems the first part of Sunday will be okay with some sunshine but there will be some clouds developing. Dew points will rise and late in the afternoon and evening we see the chance for some showers and possibly a thunderstorm though severe weather is not an issue from we are seeing.
High temperatures Sunday will reach the low and mid 80s until the showers come into play. Some shower and thunderstorm activity will be around Sunday night into early Monday morning. Then the front and the associated low pressure system on that frontal boundary will carry everything to the east. Weather conditions should improve from west to east Monday afternoon with some sunshine developing and highs
Much of the time next week it will be on the warm and humid side with temperatures close to average for this time of year with highs in the low to middle 80s and lows in the mid 60s to near 70 degrees. Other than perhaps a weather front late in next week, not much in the way of shower and thunderstorm activity is in the forecast. It looks to be a good week for vacationers enjoying area beaches and parks.
