Still Humid, A Few Showers or a Thunderstorm Today Weekend Outlook
Our weather front from yesterday is temporarily stalled along the immediate coast. While it is dry this morning, along that frontal boundary we could see a few showers or a thunderstorm develop late morning into this afternoon. We do not expect severe weather from this set up and once an upper trough swings through the Northeast it will push the front further offshore and we can start to focus on the weekend. High temperatures today will be in the 80s.

Skies will clear tonight and Saturday morning lows will be in the 50s well inland and mostly 60s everywhere else. We will get a humidity break of sorts Saturday especially from New York City northward where dew points will drop into the 50s. Humidity levels will be higher in South Jersey and Southern Pennsylvania but not unreasonable. Skies Saturday will be mainly sunny with high temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s.
Humidity levels will be on the rise Saturday night and Sunday. You can expect Sunday temperatures to to out again in the low to mid 80s. We will have some sunshine but we will need to throw in the chance for a shower or thunderstorm Sunday afternoon and evening. However they will be scattered in nature so not everyone will see rain. Overall it should be a pretty good weekend.
The first part of next week we will be dealing with a backdoor weather front of sorts that is likely to stall out nearby. This will impact temperatures; cooler to the north & warmer to the south. We expect Monday to be dry and very warm with some sunshine and highs in the 80s. Tuesday we could see some late thunderstorms and a higher chance Wednesday with a stronger cold front.
