Overall Nice Warmer Weekend, Hot Weather Arrives Tuesday
The weekend is ehre and we will kick it off with a very nice Saturday. Low pressure aloft is now in Atlantic Canada. We have a weakening disturbance and front moving through the Great Lakes. In between both systems we have sunshine for today. Temperatures as they are known to do this time of year jump reflexively higher once a cooler scheme exits and that is what we will be seeing today. Most highs today will reach the lower 80s inland with 70s along the coast. Radars are nice and quiet and are forecast to stay that way.

WEATHER RADAR
That Great Lakes disturbance moving east that I mentioned earlier will move through after midnight and before daybreak. A surviving shower or thunderstorm is possible overnight but it is a low chance and it will be gone by daybreak. This leaves us with southwest winds, sunshine, and very warm to borderline hot temperatures for Sunday. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s in most locations with temperatures about 10 degrees cooler at the shore.
The very weak frontal boundary will create a flow that is more onshore Monday but the air mass building in aloft is so warm that the impact of an ocean wind will be much less than it otherwise would be. Monday will be a day of sunshine or no worse than partly sunny skies. Inland areas from Western New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania will likely reach the upper 80s to lower 90s. However look for lower 80s around New York City and 70s for Long Island and Southern New England.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be very hot days with sunshine both days. We do have a weather front that will approach late Wednesday with some showers and possibly a few thunderstorms. There also might be a scattered shower or thunderstorm late Tuesday afternoon. Highs both days will reach the low and middle 90s in most places with only slightly lower highs along the immediate coast. The heat breaks Thursday and Friday with much cooler conditions as we set up the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
