Dry Weekend Much Warmer Temperatures Arrive Next Week Little to No Rain

A lovely afternoon of sunshine continues across much of the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states. In fact the  nice weather extends up and down the Eastern Seaboard. We are hitting our highs in the 60s area wide except for some coastal areas where local sea breezes are developing as we head into the evening. Radars are nice and quiet. We will see clear skies tonight and most lows will be in the upper 30s to middle 40s.

WEATHER RADAR

The core of a slightly colder air mass will move overhead Sunday but our weather will still remain nice and sunny. Winds will be turning more southerly thanks to the high moving offshore. This means that coastal areas will likely be in the in the upper 40s to lower 50s for highs but work your way inland and Sunday afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 60s. No rain is in the forecast.

We continue to remain in a mostly dry weather pattern for the week ahead. Many areas will not see any rain all week long. We will also see temperatures warming up as head into the middle portion of the week. Monday we will see inland highs reach the upper 70s to around 80 degrees with lower readings along the coast. A good deal of sunshine is forecast. Tuesday temperatures will be even higher with sunshine taking highs into the 80s inland. Local sea breezes will mean cooler readings along coastal locations.

Wednesday and Thursday will be very warm and in some places, down right hot with highs reaching well into the 80s. Some hot spots could even reach 90 degrees for the firs time since early last autumn. As far as significant rain is concerned, we do not see any weather systems bringing substantial rain right through the week and we may have to wait until at least next weekend for any kind of significant weather front to impact our developing very warm spring pattern.
