Another Day of Sun & Warmer Temperatures Through The Weekend
After a cold start this morning we will begin to warm things up a bit over the next couple of days. High pressure which was overhead overnight is going to move offshore and winds will turn to the southwest. This will help to bring temperatures higher both during the day and at night. There are some high clouds being pushed along by another weakening frontal system but overall today it will be mostly sunny for the 11th day in a row. High temperatures will reach the low and middle 60s this afternoon. Radars are nice

WEATHER RADAR
Tonight won’t be as cold with mainly clear skies and there should be enough of a light wind to keep temperatures from dropping much. Overnight lows will be mostly in the 40s except warmer urban centers which will bottom near 50. Thursday brings another day of sunshine and we will warm up nicely as high temperatures reach the upper 60s and lower 70s.
We have another one of these weak cold fronts that will pass through on Friday which will be hardly noticed other than a wind shift from southwest to west and then northwest. We will see mainly sunny skies and Friday afternoon highs will reach the low and middle 70s in many locations.
Moving on to the weekend we will see another cool high build in behind the cold front but this is not going to change temperatures in a big way. It will be slightly cooler for both Saturday and Sunday. Both days will be partly to mostly sunny with high temperatures in the 60s both days. No rain is in the forecast until later next week when a storm in the Plains develops and brings chances for rain mid week. The pattern will switch to a more active one so we can say goodbye to cloud free days.
