You Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Weather Day In Early April

I don’t think many would argue that this was the best day of the early spring so far. Yes there were a few clouds early on but they quickly disappeared and it has been sunny ever since. Winds are light. Temperatures are making a run into the 60s away from the ocean. The satellite is clear over much of the Northeast and Middle Atlantic States. Hopefully you are enjoying this spectacular afternoon.

There shouldn’t be any issues this evening or tonight though it will likely start to cloud up. One thing about early spring is that it is very hard to string together consecutive days of nice weather. Weather systems are moving along with the next one due Tuesday. Clouds will be back along with some showers late Tuesday and Tuesday night. Highs Tuesday will be in the 60s. Low pressure will be moving out of the Great Lakes and head for New Jersey and Southern New England Wednesday morning.

With the low moving out Wednesday morning leftover clouds will give way to some sunshine but the faster the sun comes out, the warmer the temperatures. Highs from NYC north and east will be significantly cooler than areas south and west.

Mid 60s will reach into Northern New Jersey with lower 70s Southern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey southward. North and east of NYC temperatures will be just in the 50s. Thursday brings the next cold front to the coast with the chance for showers. Highs will be in the 60s.

Thursday’s highs will be in the 60s. A chilly air mass arrives for Friday and the start of the weekend at least. Look for some sun to return Friday along with a gusty wind and highs just in the 50s. The weekend could turn out dry but we do have another front approaching for early next week and there could be complications with that front as it nears the coast. We will talk more about this tonight on the Joe & Joe Weather Show on youtube or you can watch it on the video section of the app.
