Winter Weather Advisory Continues
Dry air has taken its toll on the radar this morning and there isn’t much going on this morning. However the radar should fill in shortly. I have no plans to raise my snowfall estimates and feel good about keeping the snow accumulation numbers where they are for the moment. In the meantime the maps below are the National Weather Service snow forecast amounts. They have not changed their numbers too much with some minor adjustments here and there. Intensity is going to be the primary driver here with temperatures that will hover around the freezing mark once snow gets underway.
NAM SNOW FORECAST THROUGH 10PM
The snow isn’t over at this point but by 10PM if we account for some melting the NAM model produces at most a few inches in most places. Again my forecast is below the weather service and I’m leaving it along at the moment.
The maps below are the National Weather Service forecast snow maps with the most likely snowfall prediction.
