WEEKEND FORECAST AUTUMN SPRING THROUGH MONDAY

Today will be the 4th consecutive day of great weather acrosss much of the Northeast & Middle Atlantic States. Actually the beautiful dry weather extends all the way south to Florida. Low pressure is developing well to the east. There is a big upper high over the East Coast that isn’t going anywhere fast. So it is blue sky and sunshine right through the weekend.

As for today most highs will reach 70 to 75. That seems to be the range that we are locked into at this point and that should hold over the weekend. There may be some local sea breezes developing along coastal locations but that should be the extent of our problems.

There is one issue of concern today and that is the excessive dryness and very low relative humidity today does increase the risk for fire in wooded areas so bear that in mind if outdoors today or this weekend.

Monday we will begin to see humidity levels come up somewhat as a cold front and low pressure developing on that front begin to swing to the east. Monday will be nice with sunshine and some clouds with highs in the 70s. Then Tuesday as low pressure heads to our west and a cold front approaches, we finally get some much needed rain here. That rain could last into Wednesday before much cooler air follows for later next week.
