Week Ahead Forecast Looking Quiet
Hot Humid Late Week
This beautiful Sunday will wind down shortly with dry air over the northeast and a clear night ahead. A dry air mass covers the Great Lakes southward into the Middle Atlantic States. This will be the story for the first 2 days this week. Tonight will be nice and clear with lows in the 60s. Monday and Tuesday look for lots of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s. The satellite loop shows the dry clear skies covering much of the Northeast.
Radars across the region are nice and quiet. Some scattered showers are indicated over parts of Northern New England and south in parts of North Carolina. That pretty much covers it as the dry drought pattern continues.
Week Ahead Forecast Looking Quiet Late Week Outlook
Beginning on Wednesday humidity and higher temperatures will be making a comeback. Thursday and Friday we will see temperatures in the 90s. A back door cold front gets close on Wednesday but doesn’t make it through. This puts us in a hot humid setup for the rest of the weekend and probably into next weekend. And while the chance for a thunderstorm begins to pop up beginning late Wednesday they will be isolated in nature and most of us won’t see much if anything at all when it comes to rain.
The heat and humidity are likely to continue into next Saturday before another cold front arrives and brings a cool down for Sunday and early next week. The same pattern just marches on.
