The weekend weather gets underway with sunshine for this Saturday and no weather issues to speak of with temperatures into the 80s. That is the easy part of the forecast. The satellite loop shows a low spinning out in the ocean. That low is not tropical in nature but it does make the forecast for Sunday a little tougher. At this time I’m thinking that some showers will spin in from off the ocean but they should dry out as the move westward so I don’t think they are a problem for Sunday. The issue will be whether clouds make it into the Eastern half of Pennsylvania. Some might move in but I think it will be no worse than Partly Sunny for Sunday.

gfs42You can see the GFS for 2pm Sunday does show some measurable precip with the offshore low in scattered patches. . Sunday night the low pulls away and that sets up for a decent Monday. The next cold front approaches with the chance for showers and thunderstorms and some of those rains could approach very late Monday afternoon or more than likelyr Monday night or during the day Tuesday. Lower humidity finally gets in here for Wednesday through Friday though we will have to watch and see if the front winds up getting hung up along the coast for awhile. Right now we are being optimistic.
