The Warmup Begins Monday across the northeast and the Middle Atlantic States. The last of the chilly air overhead will move out after today. One upper air disturbance going by this morning will produce some clouds. The system is very weak and other than a small chance for a sprinkle or flurry this morning, skies should go partly sunny and temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s this afternoon. Lows tonight will be in the 20s to lower 30s.

The activity on both the regional and local radars should be minimal this morning as the disturbance heads out to the east. Then the radars should remain quiet for the next several days with no worse than partly sunny skies over the next 3 days.

Temperatures will be the story over the next 3 days as we head higher. We are looking at highs across the area in the 50s on Monday. Tuesday temperatures will head into the 60s. Wednesday will be the warmest of the stretch with highs reaching into the 70s. The only places that will have a tough time on Tuesday and Wednesday will be along the coast. The ocean water temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s which mean a sea breeze will be coming in.
