Warm Day But Another Cold Front Passes Tonight
Autumn Cool Wednesday Into Saturday
We are in the world of weather systems moving along on a regular basis. A new cold front is approaching but it still has some distance to cover before it reaches the coastal plain. We will spend the day in sunshine though some clouds will start to arrive during this afternoon from west to east. The fronts stand out on the satellite loops with one to the northeast and the other rotating through the Great Lakes. Temperatures today will warm with southwest winds ahead of the front. Highs will reach the mid to upper 60s.

WEATHER RADAR
Tonight there will be some showers moving through Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. The rainfall will not amount to much as the showers will be moving along and moisture is limited. A tenth to at most a quarter of an inch is forecast and the showers should be long gone by daybreak. Most lows will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
Once the front passes a strong upper trough will be over the Northeast US Wednesday into Friday. This is going to create a cool unstable environment so that each day will feature clouds, some sunshine, and the risk that there could be some scattered showers especially inland. Any showers though will be very light and generally spread out so that most of you won’t see them. Most highs Wednesday will be in the lower 60s. Thursday and Friday will be the same, clouds, some sun, and that isolated shower risk. Highs both days will not get out of the 50s. The weekend right now is looking good for both Saturday and Sunday as the high shifts into New England and that keeps the next weather system at bay through at least Sunday.
