Sunshine Warm Saturday Colder Sunday

Our almost perfect holiday weekend of weather enters day 3 with lots of sunshine to start. The cold front to the west is weak and other than clouds that will move through later this afternoon and evening there are no weather issues to speak of. Low pressure offshore is moving well to the east. We should see sunshine into the afternoon with highs in the mid 50s to near 60.

The cold front moves through with no issues tonight. Colder air arrives for a quick shot on Sunday with sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 40s. As fast as the cold air comes in, it goes out on Monday.

The week ahead sees no major problems. The next cold front on Wednesday is very weak so nothing more than some clouds. Another front on Friday might bring the chance for a few showers. Other than that it will be some sunshine each day this week and highs in the 50s. Longer term it seems overnight weather models are growing more bullish on a colder stormier pattern as we move into the month of December but we will need to see more confirmation on this over the coming days.

JOESTRADAMUS has more on this and the cold weather in Europe in his long range post and explains why things are so quiet here.
