SMini Heatwave Arrives Monday Break Arrives Thursday unshine Friday Good Weekend Heat Humidity Next Week

Sunshine Friday Good Weekend Heat Humidity Next Week

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY OF SUNSHINE & LOW HUMIDITY

A NICE WEEKEND THOUGH HUMIDITY RISES

HEAT HUMIDITY MONDAY INTO THURSDAY OF NEXT WEEK

We have a great Friday forecast here with not only a nice day today but the weekend looks good overall even though the dry air now with us does eventually give way to hot humid weather next week. Right now we have a satellite that is free of cloud cover across the Northeast & Middle Atlantic States. Sunshine will take temperatures up into the lower 80s this afternoon.  It is about as picture perfect as you can get for late August.  Satellite loop shows that there are no clouds of any importance anywhere close by. Radars are in silent mode today as well as through the weekend.

Lows Friday morning were in the 50s except for the warmer urban centers which bottomed in the lower 60s. We will have another nice comfortable night with clear skies and lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s. The weekend will be nice with sunshine and just a few passing clouds. There will be a wind off the ocean and some high clouds from the west to keep temperatures in check. The humidity will still be reasonable on Saturday as highs reach into the 80s but not very far into the 80s. Sunday we will nudge up higher with some sunshine and clouds. Humidity levels will go up on Sunday as highs reach the mid to upper 80s.

Sunshine Friday Good Weekend Heat Humidity

Monday begins a 3 day stretch of 90 degree or higher temperatures with high humidity, hazy sun, and the chance for a scattered thunderstorm each day. Wednesday evening it appears a cold front comes through and this will shut the 90s off. Thursday and Friday look cooler but the front that is coming is likely to get hung up which could complicate things for the Labor Day holiday weekend. That is the early view at this point.
