Sunshine But Chilly Conditions Through Friday
Dry Warmer Weekend Showers Sunday Night Monday
Cool Autumn weather is with us for today and Friday. High pressure is building southeastward between a storm in Atlantic Canada and a cold front and low pressure area in the northwestern Plains. This puts us in a bit of a sweet spot with sunny skies. Temperatures today will probably have a tough time getting out of the 50s in most places except in South Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania where temperatures could break above 60 degrees. Satellite shows mainly clear skies with clouds to the northeast. Radars are nice and quiet and should remain that way through the dayside Sunday.

Skies will be mostly clear tonight. There should be enough of a north wind to keep temperatures from dropping off the wall. Most lows will be in the lower 40s coast and warmer urban locations and in the 30s for most places inland. Friday is going to be another sunny but cool day. Highs will generally be in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
The high pressure cell will begin to move to the east Saturday and that will allow temperatures to climb as winds turn more to the south over time. Skies Saturday will be mostly sunny. After reaching lows in the morning in the upper 30s to mid 40s and highs Saturday afternoon will be mostly in the low to mid 60s.
Attention turns Sunday to a storm developing in the Great Lakes with a trailing cold front. The timing of this front means that we should be dry through the daytime Sunday. The Great Lakes low moves into Canada and another low could form in the front in Pennsylvania. We will likely see sunshine giving way to afternoon arriving clouds but no rain for the dayside. Sunday highs will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
Sunday night into Monday it will become breezy or even windy at times with showers and perhaps even a few rumbles of thunder. It may take a while for the low to pull away to the northeast and we may lingering clouds and some showers Monday during the day. We should see some improvement Monday night into Tuesday however another low in the Great Lakes with a trailing front could bring some more rain or showers Tuesday night into Wednesday.
