Sunshine Back For Monday Showers Later Tuesday Dry Wednesday Thursday

Yesterday’s low that produced rain over the area has now moved offshore and it has weakened somewhat. The cloud and rain shield is now mostly offshore and we are seeing drier air coming in from New England. We should see a fair amount of sunshine today and temperatures should respond nicely by climbing to the mid 60s to near 70 degrees. No rain is forecast today.

REGIONAL RADAR

Rain is gone from the regional radars and the local radars are silent. We will see clear skies giving way to some clouds tonight with most lows in the 40s to lower 50s.

Tuesday clouds will increase and thicken. We have a cold front approaching that today is producing severe weather across the Mississippi Valley. It will bring showers here later in the day Tuesday with highs in the 60s.

Things will be moving along this week as so this weather front moves out to the east and weather conditions improve nicely for Wednesday and Thursday. Sunshine returns for both days with highs in the 60s. Then we have the next front arriving for Friday with a chance for showers.

At least we are in a pattern where weather systems moves right along from west to east so if that is the case we should see improving weather conditions over this coming weekend with sunshine returning at some point on Saturday and a nice dry sunny Sunday providing that this front doesn’t stall out at the last minute.
