Sunday Rain Making Final Approach Local Radar Loops
Latest radar and satellite loops show rain beginning to come into range of the regional radar out to the west. Clouds are beginning to move back in from the west as well. No rain is forecast until after midnight. It should reach Eastern Pennsylvania by 2 or 3 am, the New Jersey border border 6am and in Long Island Southern New England by 8am Sunday. The first round should begin tapering off during the late afternoon in areas south and west of New York City and late afternoon or evening. However there is a second round for later Sunday night into Monday afternoon. Then a third round of rain remains on schedule for Tuesday.

2 day rainfall totals come up to about an inch or so. Temperatures on Sunday will be raw and chilly with highs just into the 50s. Monday we might inch a little higher in the 50s to around 60.
