Warmer Temps This Weekend
As much as everyone would like some nice spring time weather with warm temperatures, we will have to endure what we have as the Springtime Chill Continues. Temperatures for the rest of the work week will continue to run below average which is now in the low 60s by day and the low 40s by night. However at least we have sunshine in the forecast for most of the time over the next 5 days. Warmer temperatures are coming for the weekend. Radars will be rather quiet from now until perhaps late Monday when the next cold front is due.
Temperatures today, Thursday and Friday will be in the mid to upper 50s by day away from coastal areas. The north northeast to northeast wind will tend to keep things cooler along the shore. Nights will be chilly with clear skies for the most part and lows in the 30s to near 40. Some cold spots could see the freezing mark or below over the next couple of nights unless some clouds come into the mix which is possible. Other than that forecasting issues appear minimal.

Over the weekend the New England high that is causing the dry cool air will shift southward and this will allow temperatures to climb. 60s are possible on Saturday again away from the coast. Sunday and Monday with more of a west wind we could see 60s to near 70 or even low 70s with a little bit of luck. No real worries from the onshore flow are expected. The next chance for any rain could come late Monday with a cold front. Even then it will probably be just a few passing showers late in the day.
