My snowfall forecast map for Friday remains the same. Judging from the first round of new models coming in this morning, snow is going depend on how well the snow in the Ohio Valley holds together. The new NAM model is even drier and keeps any southern moisture from the coastal storm completely offshore. This would suggest that any snow would be done by mid morning on Friday if that is correct and amounts would be minimal. In the end this is not going to be a big deal. The primary issue in my view is snow coming overnight with temperatures in the 20s is likely to slicken up roadways so you want to be extra cautious for the Friday morning commute.
