Snow Forecast Maps No Changes
Im not going to make any changes to the snow forecast maps at this time. It seems they are in line with the new NAM model run from what I can see. I might be a little low inland and some areas will finish closer to the high end of the 1 to 3 inches. I didn’t think it was worth making a new one at this point. Im standing firm.
Radar is beginning to show snow developing ahead of the warm front that is setting up. We should start to see those radar echos appear on the tighter regional radar view overnight and Sunday morning.
The maps below are the National Weather Service forecast snow maps with the most likely snowfall prediction. The numbers they have now seem to be pretty reasonable with some 3 to 4 inch amounts in areas to the north and northwest with the less than an inch forecast for the coast, which also makes sense.
