Sunshine Dry Sunday Into Tuesday No Rain Until Wednesday Night At The Earliest

After a warm and somewhat humid day and after some scattered thunderstorms moved through, we are on our way to a dry cool air mass for the next few days. Humidity levels are coming down tonight and you can already feel the change in the air. Skies should clear out nicely overnight and this is setting us up for a beautiful day of sunshine for Sunday. Lows tonight will be mostly in the 50s and Sunday's highs will be mostly in the middle to upper 70s except for lower 70s as you head north into the Hudson Valley and Southern New England. All in all it will be a good finish to the weekend.

Radars are showing the thunderstorms from earlier..and some of them were severe...all are now mostly offshore. We are using the Boston radar view this evening since Upton NY remains down for 2 weeks due to much needed repairs. The Boston radar is still active in New England but all radars will go silent for awhile as we enter this dry weather pattern.

Sunday night will be nice and cool with most lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s except a little higher in the normally warmer urban locations. Monday will be nice and sunny with low humidity and highs once again will be in the 70s. Sunshine Dry Sunday Into Tuesday No Rain Until Wednesday Night At The Earliest Our dry weather should last into Wednesday before the next cold front arrives with a few showers Wednesday night. At this point the remnants of Tropical Storm Crisotbal are long gone into Canada and will have no impact here. Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will reach back into the 80s. Behind the front Thursday things should improve but we have another weather front approaching late Friday with some showers and those could linger into next weekend.
