After sunset the thunderstorms should fade away. Severe weather risk returns for New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania on Tuesday as well as for the Hudson Valley west of the Hudson River for Tuesday.

It will be another hot humid day in the marginal risk zone with highs in the mid 80s to near 90 as thunderstorms will develop again in the late afternoon and evening. Im expecting the severe weather risk to be elevated to slight risk for some areas. Wednesday will be yet another day of severe weather risk for most of the area as it will be hot and humid everywhere. Highs will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
