Severe Thunderstorm Watch Western NJ Eastern Pennsylvania
We have large Severe Thunderstorm Watch area that covers all of Eastern Pennsylvania, the Western Counties of New Jersey North of Route 195, and much of Eastern & Southeastern NY State. Radars continue to show a strengthening squall line of thunderstorms crossing Eastern Pennsylvania. A few severe thunderstorm warnings have already been issued for a few counties in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Look for these thunderstorms to approach the Eastern Pennsylvania New Jersey border around or after 5pm. Some of these thunderstorms will produce winds in excess of 60 to 70 mph, heavy rains and hail.
