REGIONAL RADAR

storm free

The regional radar shows a broken line of thunderstorms moving northeastward. They seemed to have reached their peak intensity and they could hold on in strength for an hour or so before the area starts to weaken. The area is making  more of a northward progress rather than an eastward one which means the coastal areas would likely miss out on these storms.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
storm free

The southern flank of the area of thunderstorms are aiming for areas in New Jersey near Route 78 and should they hold up they will be moving in sometime after 9pm. All of these storms should weaken and dissipate overnight. Monday is shaping up to be a very warm day with sunshine developing and highs reaching the 80s. A cold front could trigger off some thunderstorms further east later Monday afternoon and the Storm Prediction Center has much of the area at a marginal risk for severe weather later Monday afternoon and evening.
