SEVERE THUNDERSTORM RISK FOR MONDAY EVENING AND NIGHT BUT WELL WEST OF THE COAST

First off for today and most of Monday no thunderstorms are forecast other than an isolated one late Monday afternoon at the earliest. The air is simply to dry today and even though humidity will be going up tomorrow, the front will still be a good 12 hours away from us Monday evening so Im not anticipating any issues except perhaps in Eastern Pennsylvania. The front actually doesn’t have a whole lot to work on so I don’t think the thunderstorm activity will be widespread in nature. That front moves offshore Tuesday morning and behind it is lower humidity and dry air so once this system moves through, I don’t believe we will have any severe weather issues for the coming week.
