Our Nice Weather Stretch Continues With No Rain Or Storms In Sight

We are in day 3 of beautiful autumn weather. We still have a coastal storm offshore which has a chance of becoming a subtropical storm but it is well out to the east. Some minor coastal flooding during high tide is possible as the northeast flow continues but it is a minor nuisance. Otherwise we have clear skies on the satellite loop up and down the Eastern Seaboard. Skies today will be mostly sunny with a fresh northeast wind. High temperatures today will be mostly in the 60s. Radars are nice and quiet. Tonight will be nice and clear with most lows in the 40s with 30s in cold spots.

WEATHER RADAR

We will continue with dry weather conditions Wednesday and Thursday. The coastal storm will continue to meander for another day before it begins to move out to the east Thursday. This is going to allow a cold front to move southward from Eastern Canada Thursday afternoon but there is going to be very little with that front. What it will do is bring a re-enforcement of dry colder air for the end of the week and going into the weekend.

Breezy conditions with northeast winds will continue Wednesday with mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the 60s. Thursday winds will turn more west and northwest as that front approaches and moves through so we may warm up some with no worse than partly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s and then dropping into the low to mid 40s by Friday morning.

Northerly winds around another cold high pressure area will bring temperatures down Friday. We will see sunshine with a gusty wind and highs just in the 50s and we will be dropping into the 30s inland and low 40s coast Friday night into Saturday morning. The weekend is looking good with sunshine for both Saturday  and Sunday. Highs Saturday will be in the 50s to near 60 degrees. Sunday highs will be back in the 60s. The next chance of rain probably doesn’t come until later next week at the earliest.
