Noreaster Eases Leftover Rain Wind
We still have some leftover warnings up this morning along the coast. Coastal Flood Warnings will expire after the high tide cycle is done. The next high tide should be a bit easier. Winter weather advisory continues inland after a night of sleet and travel this morning across the Hudson Valley was pretty messy and difficult. There is still some rain to work through today as the noreaster is sitting close by offshore and you can see some development of rain around a core center. That should back in westward later this morning and this afternoon. Rainfall amounts have been from 1 to 3 inches around the area which was great and we will see a bit more added today.

Rain should finally pull out this evening from west to east and we should see improving weather conditions afterwards. Wednesday looks dry with some sunshine and highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Then a cold front moves through Thursday with the chance for showers. This will be followed by a slow downtrend in temperatures through the weekend and into early next week.
The next chance for any precipitation will be perhaps next Tuesday however weather models seem to want to take this system to our south at least for now. We will focus more on this and other developments later today.
