Nice Autumn Like Weather Continues Scattered Shower Risk Friday
Nice Labor Day Holiday Weekend
Our nice weather streak continues and we have blue skies and sunshine with just a few passing clouds for today. Humidity levels remain very subdued and temperatures also remain in check thanks to high pressure and dry air from Canada. Radars are nice and quiet. On the satellite loop you can see clouds from the next cold front to the northwest and that might bring some showers late today in Western New York and Northwest Pennsylvania but we will be in good shape. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 70s.

The front will draw closer tonight and we will have some clouds around with most lows Friday morning in the upper 50s to mid 60s. There might be some scattered showers around between midnight and 8am but this front is going to keep moving along so we expect no major issues other than a passing scattered shower for the dayside Friday. Otherwise skies will be partly sunny with highs mostly in the 70s.
The cold front will be long gone and the weekend sees another dome of cool high pressure that will build across the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and the Northeast. This next high will wedge itself in for many days and it is quite likely that we may not see any rain until very late next week. In the meantime we continue to be in a low humidity air mass with below average temperatures right the Labor Day and probably through next Thursday.
Saturday will be partly to mostly sunny with very low humidity and below average temperatures. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s. Saturday night into Sunday morning will be very cool with most lows near the coast and warmer urban areas in the mid to upper 50s but inland areas to the northwest, north and northeast could drop into the 40s. Sunday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s. The same holds for Monday Labor Day which will be partly to mostly sunny and highs again will be in the mid to upper 70s.
