National Weather Service Snow Forecast Friday 03102017
The National Weather Service has updated its snow forecast maps and is going for a general 1 to 3 inch snowfall and matches up to my forecast well. Snow amounts of a coating to a few inches seem to make the most sense here and all the weather models seem to be lining up with this idea. The latest NAM model forecast is in line with its previous run. It may be a shade further south. Time of day and intensity of snow will be key to all this. Anything that falls after 8 or 9am probably won’t stick to roads and timing of cold air is also a question.
