GALE WARNINGS IN EFFECT BEGINNING 2PM WEDNESDAY

Synopsis: HIGH PRESSURE DEPARTS TO THE EAST AS LOW PRESSURE TRACKS NORTH TOWARD THE GREAT LAKES. THIS LOW WILL PULL A WARM FRONT THROUGH THE AREA INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING. MULTIPLE COLD FRONTS WILL MOVE THROUGH FROM THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY EACH BRINGING A STRONGER SHOT OF COOLER AIR THAN ITS PREDECESSOR. HIGH PRESSURE THEN FOLLOWS FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE WEEKEND WITH A WEAK FRONTAL SYSTEM MOVING ACROSS ON SUNDAY. A SOUTHERN BRANCH LOW MAY IMPACT THE AREA EARLY NEXT WEEK.

Synopsis: HIGH PRESSURE OFF THE NEW ENGLAND COAST WILL MOVE OFF INTO THE NORTH ATLANTIC ON WEDNESDAY. LOW PRESSURE WILL DEEPEN ACROSS THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY TONIGHT AND MOVE NORTHWARD INTO THE UPPER GREAT LAKES BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. AN ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE MIDDLE ATLANTIC REGION WEDNESDAY NIGHT…FOLLOWER BY ANOTHER FRONT FRIDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN FOR THE WEEKEND. ANOTHER DISTURBANCE WILL ARRIVE ACROSS OUR REGION EARLY NEXT WEEK.
