Low Humidity Sunshine Next 3 Days But Heat Humidity Return Late Week
This week is going to be a tale of two air masses. The good part is the first half as high pressure builds down from Eastern Canada into New England and that brings with it slightly lower temperatures with highs in the low to mid 80s today. We will have lots of sunshine, a nice northwest breeze and no shower or thunderstorm issues. Radars are nice and quiet with no echoes across much of the Northeast. Tonight will be nice and clear with most lows in the 60s and upper 50s will be common in cool spots. Humidity levels are way down and it is about as nice as it can be for July.

WEATHER RADAR
The dry air mass holds on for Tuesday with low dew points in the 50s and mostly sunny skies across Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England. Temperatures Tuesday will be in the low to mid 80s. Local sea breezes will develop at the beaches. Humidity remains subdued and once again there are no showers and thunderstorms to worry about.
The second half of the week is the other half of this tale. Temperatures are going to heading higher and humidity levels will start to climb though they should still be reasonable on Wednesday. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny. Temperatures will be topping out in the mid to some upper 80s. Local sea breezes will dominate area beaches keeping things a little cooler along the coast.
The climb upward in temperatures and humidity will continue Thursday as highs will reach the upper 80s to around or just over 90 degrees. Dew points will be rising into the low and middle 60s so it will start to feel a little more uncomfortable. Then we come to Friday as heat that is building in parts of the Midwest and Mississippi River Valley comes to the East. Friday will be very hot and very humid with sunshine taking highs well up into the 90s with just some moderate relief offered at shore locations.
A weather front is likely to approach from the northwest and take its sweet time moving through. This will keep things hot Saturday though temperatures will be off the Friday highs. We will also introduce the possibility of thunderstorms. Saturday highs will be in the lower 90s. Sunday we will continue to be very warm and humid and there is the chance for some afternoon and evening storms. Highs Sunday will be in the mid to upper 80s.
